We are extremely happy with Adra and Royal Velvet Sphynx where we acquired our male Sphynx, Max, about a month ago. We looked for quite a while around the country for the right cat, from a reputable and honest breeder, and he is absolutely wonderful. Not only is he beautiful and cute, but he is well socialized, brave, and full of personality. A pleasure from day one. We just got our second kitten from Royal Velvet and have had the best experience twice now. I got my first sphynx over a decade ago and spent years trying to find a reputable breeder to get another and had no luck until I found Royal Velvet. We got our first kitten in February 2023 and just got our second a few days ago. Adra takes a lot of pride in her cattery! She’s so knowledgeable and helpful, always keeps you informed, and is very accessible if you ever have any questions. She regularly sends updates, photos, and even videos of your kitten, which I always loved and looked forward to. She also has a friends & family group for everyone who has one of her kittens, which I’ve found really helpful and also just enjoy seeing all the other cats! As a bonus, each of our kittens also came home with a really nice goodie bag! I can’t recommend this cattery enough—both of our babies are healthy and so beautiful! ♥️

I cannot tell you enough how awesome Adra is with her kitties! I adopted my sphynx from her in December ‘23 and she has been so amazing every step of the way before and after the adoption. She is so caring with the kitties and she answers all your questions!!! I was so scared of scams but she is 100% the best breeder I’ve ever been in contact with. We lost our cat baby of 12 years in July 2022. A friend of ours had two Sphynx cats and told us about their wonderful temperament. Around Oct 2022 we started looking for our own Sphynx kittens. We were extremely concerned about scams Re: sphynx catteries so we were extremely cautious. I came across Royal Velvet and immediately reached out. Adra was super responsive and helpful. She eased all my concerns about it being a scam by providing everything I asked for. We put down a deposit pretty quickly for two little boys; received frequent updates, pictures and videos. Adra responded to any and all questions we had about our boys and their care (we had a lot since these are our first Sphynx cats). We picked them up on Dec 11 and they have been absolutely wonderful. They have wonderful temperaments- extremely social and affectionate. Very intelligent. Playful. We couldn’t have asked for two better kittens or a better experience with a cattery. I HIGHLY recommend Adra and Royal velvets. I wouldn’t look any further. Since we’ve had them, Adra has checked on them and continues to provide advice and answers any and all questions. So happy with our decision and our two new boys, Mars and Memphis.

We have gotten two Sphynx cats from her and they are the best cats ever! She is such a great breeder and person! She will personally message you updates on the kitten you have chosen and sends pictures as they grow. She is also available to message if there is any questions and sends home a care package when you get a kitten. We definitely recommend her and are planning to get more in the future!

We purchased a kitten from Adra this past Fall and she has been the most purrrfect addition to our family! Luna has a great, fun-loving Sphynx personality and loves to cuddle and play with us. She even gets along with our little doggie. She everything we wanted in our new nakid.
I was nervous to buy online (as we live In Louisiana and had to have Luna flown to us) but Adra was extremely helpful during the process and made me feel very comfortable with our purchase. You can tell she cares a lot about all of her cats.

Royal Velvets is an amazing cattery!!! Highly recommend! We adopted our Dobby and will be adopting our little Elliot in March! We have always received many pictures videos and updates! I love that she takes such amazing care of her babies... they are not just any breeder they truly love and care for their babies. I’m so glad they test for HCM each year as well. All kittens come spayed and neutered too with most of their vaccines as well. We could not be happier! Our little handsome Dobby has settled in so nicely and is such a love muffin!

What a dream! We made a very last minute decision to surprise our son with a kitten of his own this Christmas, and Adra was nothing short of accommodating. Her processes, pricing, and information on available kittens were extremely detailed and easy to find, which was much appreciated during our frantic last minute Christmas quest. As we awaited pickup, Adra remained communicative, texting details about vet visits, neuter, and lots of precious photos! The cherry on top was pick up day when she told me she had bathed him and had his bag packed 🥹
Adra provided all vet records, labs, and pertinent new kitty information upon pickup, as well as a goodie bag with toys, treats, collar, nail clippers, gloves for bath time, and a comfy blanket; the thoughtfulness and care she puts into her kittens and process is truly top tier.
Our family, especially our son, is totally obsessed with our newest little family member. He is completely gorgeous, well mannered, silly, playful, patient, and a cuddle bug. Purchasing our Devon Rex kitten from Royal Velvet was an amazing experience. I needed a hypoallergenic breed that was easy to take care of. The Devon Rex breed was perfect for us. I am allergic to cats in general, but I haven't had one allergic reaction since getting him. From the selection process to the pick up everything was so convenient. Everything was handled with his care so all we had to do was pick him up and bond with him. There is a lot of information on the website and she answered all of my additional questions. This was perfect for my busy life and transition into pet parenthood. I definitely recommend Royal Velvet for purchasing your kitten.

We were very skeptical in purchasing a kitten online but from the initial contact, Adra reassured us at all times until the kitten pick up. We saw the kitten for the first time on a FaceTime call and Adra sent weekly photos and updates. Our kitten Miko arrived clean, with all injections, nutted, microchipped, and litter trained. I would give this business a hundred stars if I could. This was the first experience I’ve had purchasing a devon rex cat, and I wouldn’t do business with anyone else. For the price you pay for the cat it is 100% worth it, the owner is extremely generous with everything you receive along with your cat and takes such good care of them. We love our Ziggy.

After losing my Maine Coon, Lion-o, Lord of the Thundercats, last fall I began looking for a different type of breed for my next kitten. While researching I stumbled upon the “werewolf cat” Lykoi. Their unique look and personality were perfect. When I was ready, I got into contact with Pantheon Sphynx, Cornish Rex & Lykoi and they were wonderful! However, their current litter did not have the color of the kitten I was interested in. Graciously, they contacted Royal Velvet who had the ideal little wolf! I am thankful and it has been a fantastic experience. Royal Velvet provided answers to my questions in quick order, provided updates, and helped bus him to me (8-hour travel time). He came healthy and within a day he was already feeling at home and craving attention. I would recommend Royal Velvet for the breed.

I can’t say enough as to just how phenomenal of a cattery Royal Velvet Sphynx is. The love and passion Adra has for her cattery truly shows! She produces the most adorable most beautiful kittens with the best personalities. She handles them daily giving them so much love and attention. All her queens and kings are HCM and DNA tested. I was looking for a Sphynx a little over a year ago. I was almost caught in a scam. Luckily, I was able to find Royal Velvet Sphynx and Devon Rex! Adra gave me references to call and check her out. Turns out, the veterinarian she uses is in my town! Everyone kept telling me about how much Adra loves her cats and how well she cares for them. Fast forward a few months, and I was blessed with my first ever Sphynx, Ivy! Fast forward a little more, and we now have our second Sphynx, Cosmo! Long story short, if you’re in the market for a Sphynx, call Adra. She is 100% legit. Not only that, but she is amazing as well. Very knowledgeable and patient with all my questions.
